Château Barreyres lies in the village of Arcins, with vineyards bordering the Moulis and Margaux appellations. Their unique geographical location and geology is similar to the greatest of the Médoc Grand Crus. Crafted with the utmost precision, their sustainable plot-by-plot approach to winemaking results in wines with remarkable finesse.

Tasting Notes
Château Barreyres 2016 is a Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois with a very elegant profile reminiscent of its neighbors in Margaux. Deep purple in color, it is open on the nose with appealing scents of fresh red fruit alongside classic features associated with well-managed aging. This is a fine Cru Bourgeois with a very pleasing profile including good structure and a full body. The finish is remarkably persistent.

"Dried red flowers and red currants, cherries and an edge of graphite, too. This has plushness and fluidity on the palate with a fine, even-paced finish."
