How do the sizes fit? Since it’s a base layer, should I go a size smaller than normal, or normal/true size?

It is recommended to choose your normal size.

Does the coat operate on a single battery or is it two?

It requires two batteries to power. One battery powers the top side, other battery powers the bottom side of the heating element. It can however be used with one battery as well, but only one side will be heated.

How long will the batteries last?

The batteries will last 2.5 - 3 hours on full power // up to 10 hours on the lowest heat setting.
