2018 Pursuit “Campfire” Proprietary Red Wine, Napa Valley— 93 Points, Wine Enthusiast

Campfire Red has always been a blend of the best fruit Pursuit can find, and though Cabernet tends to drive the wagon, it is the combination of other varietals that help give this wine its unique Bordeaux-inspired personality. Showing an intense ruby color in the glass, the aromas of ripe plum and currant open to reveal a hint of black tea and pomegranate. A grippy first sip reveals a minerality that mimics wet stone. The finish is that of a dusty, tart, cranberry leaving you curious and wanting more.
