This measurement is the straight measurement from the left to the right neck seam. This isn't the measurement of the circumference of the neck, as it would be for a dress shirt. This jacket is designed to be work over a later tee, knit or woven. It is a tailored fit through the chest and body. So we suggest you buy your size unless you like a roomier fit.
