Air Deck 2.0 // Plus Plus // Bundle of 2

The Air Deck 2.0 is the brainchild of globetrotters Ursus Negenborn and Rune Kippervik, who conceived the idea while traveling in southeast Asia. They liked to play cards in the downtime that comes with so much travel, but decks of cards can be heavy and bulky, and be easily destroyed if you're trying to play anywhere other than at a clean table.

So they invented their own version. It's a full deck of traditional playing cards, but custom-designed to be ultra lightweight, ultra compact, ultra durable, and even washable.

While generating their first prototypes, they went to several of the world’s top manufacturers of premium casino cards and asked for the best materials they could provide. They tried out over 50 different materials, each of which were taken through scratch, bending, and handling tests to identify the best candidate. Finally, they discovered "casino quality" PVC that had all the propertied they wanted, for a deck that shuffles and handles like you expect professional cards to do, but holds up to just about anything.

The artistic design of the cards is also minimalist, uncluttered, symmetrical and easy to read, with a textured back for easy grip. Despite the smaller footprint, the cards retain all the features of standard decks, but are even easier to hold, shuffle, fan, and tuck away in a bag or suitcase, thanks to the slim profile.

Best of all, these cards are 100% waterproof. Play in the rain, in the pool, on a boat - or in the dirt and then wash them off in the sink.
