Can it be used without the USB cable? Is there a battery in it for portable access?

Unfortunately, it doesn't work without USB cable. There is no battery.

How many times can I clean them before I need to replace them?

If you use the device every day for 8 hours we recommend replacing the filter every month and clean every two weeks.

Is this safe to use near electronic equipment like computers?

You can use it near your personal computer.

Is it really just a fan or does it have a condenser or other cooling agent?

AirChill doesn't require any cooling agent.

Can it be used inside a car or truck?

AirChill is built to be used at home or in the office, we have not tried to use it in the car. We recommend it to be placed on a flat stable surface.

Does this have an automatic shutoff when the water tank is empty?

No, the fan will continue to blow the wind.

Is the voltage 110-240v?

Yes, please make sure you have steady power for AirChill to operate properly.

Does is use micro USB or USB C?

It uses micro USB.
