The Alligator Chopper also includes a BPA-free plastic collector bin so you can added your prepared ingredients right from the Chopper to the pan.

The 28 stainless steel blades cleanly slice and dice vegetables, garlic, onions, and fruit in one fluid motion while the convenient cutting guides provide perfectly straight cuts every single time. These stainless steel blades are made from an incredibly high quality steel imported from Korea to ensure they stay sharp through years of use. What happens when the blades get dull?

The blades will last for many years, tests in a professional catering business resulted in approx 2000 lb chopped onions. As the blades only get in contact with what you're cutting, not the base of the base they last for many years of use.

Are the vegetables par boiled prior to using the chopper?

You can par boil the veggies before if you want, normally the are cut raw.
