FAQ

Do you have to keep the light switch in the “on” position the entire time for it to work or is there an internal battery?

For safety reason, there is no internal battery in the cameras. The switches are needed to be in the ON position for the cameras to be functioned at all time.

Is this indoor and outdoor capable?

AR2 is mainly for indoor. It will survive outdoor if it is not directly under sun, rain, etc.

Does it have a light?

It does come with smart LED lights which you can control to turn it ON, OFF, event-triggered, or light-triggered from the app.

What’s the video quality?

AR2S is a 1080p FHD camera (2M pixels lens).

Does it have night vision?

Yes! There are 8 infrared LED light hidden in the black panel around the lens to deliver crystal night vision.

Can you store video? Does it require WiFi? No memory cards? Any subscription costs?

It requires 2.4GHz WiFi to communicate with smartphones and cloud storage.

Does it come with a socket base that can be mounted?

The camera itself has a light bulb connector to fit conventional Edison light bulb socket.

Yes, it will. As long as it can connect to a light bulb socket to obtain power.

Does it have a speaker and mic?

Yes, it does include speaker and mic to allow two-way communications.
