​Following a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign, Touch of Modern presents this exclusive first look at the limited edition Nomadic Empire Collection — heritage timepieces that are the modern reincarnation of the Shanyrak, a tradition passed from father to son for millennia. The Shanyrak, aged over the family fire for countless decades, was the structural cross-piece on the vertex of a Nomadic Yurt that allowed the dwellers to view the sky.​ Featuring a rugged brushed titanium case, a domed sapphire crystal, and a rotating disc demonstrating the seconds hand movement to represent the Shanyrak, these watches are as unique and beautiful as they are historic and meaningful.
