About the Designer
Ana Linares is a talented designer who has been living in the Big Apple for the last eight years where she pursued her degree in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute. Her style and design philosophy have been rewarded by winning Pratt's Umbra Award in 2007 and the Modern+Design+Function award from Design Within Reach in 2010. She shared her design experience as a guest speaker with Jonathan Adler at Knoll's Apartment Therapy Design Series that same year, and in 2011 her Conversation chair was included in the book: “1000 Designs for The Garden”. Her designs have been exhibited at The Museum of The City of New York, Art Basel Miami, 100% Design London and at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in NYC. All of her designs are proudly made in Brooklyn, NYC.
