Product Description
Precolumbian, Ancient Mexico. Colima, c. 100 BC - AD 250. Marvelous Colima ceramic flute from West Mexico, with a clearly defined, raised serpent/snake on the front. Still playable and brown-slipped with four holes, the mouth slightly tapered. Well-preserved with glossy surfaces and beautiful mottled deposits. A nice ancient musical instrument in great working order! Still makes a nice sound.
