Ancient Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, c. 664 - 332 BC. Nice faience ushabti, burial figure, servant to the deceased in the afterlife. Depicted mummiform, wearing tripartite wig with false beard, arms folded across chest hands holding a pick and hoe; vertical plinth down back. Missing below the ankles. Nice green glaze. Small label on base reads “R.G.W. 8.1.90”.
