REX around / The back depicts Brittania seated upon a rock with shield, waves around, holding trident and olive branch, ship in the background, inscription BRITANNIA 1797. Minted at Birmingham, England. Measures a whopping 41mm (1 5/8") diameter, and 5mm (almost 1/4") thick! Weighs an impressive 55.11 grams. Coppery-brown tone, dings and dents from extensive circulation in olden times.
