Product Description
An Egyptian steatite scarab in silver pendant. Late New kingdom, c. 1200 - 1075 BC. The scarab is a nice Ramesside example with a seated pharaoh holding a crook and flail, and a smaller figure representing a subject or captive before. It is mounted with a silver suspension loop that runs through the scarab’s original hole, on 18-inch Italian silver chain.
