Ancient Greece, c. 5th Century BC. Neat Greek red ceramic face appliqué. In the form of a male head, with wide, almond-shaped eyes, wavy hair, pronounced nose and lips suggested by four raised dots. Finger-prints of the maker still visible on back! Mounded in archival magnetic frame (frame measures 5 1/8" diameter).
