Ancient Rome. Hadrian (117-138 AD). Excellent silver denarius, set into a .925 silver and leather men’s bracelet. Coin struck at Rome mint, and depicts his laureate head right, HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS around. The back depicts Spes (the Roman goddess of Hope) walking left, holding flower and raising the hem of her skirt, COS III around. An incredible portrait of the Roman emperor Hadrian! A fantastic and wearable jewelry piece, the clasp slides laterally to be securely opened and closed.
