This excavated WWII German M40 army helmet, was battlefield recovered from Russia. A testament to the brutal and bloody final battles on the Eastern Front in the waning days of World War II. Discovered and excavated at a battlefield near Stalingrad, Russia. Remnants of a single army decal are still visible, with traces of white winter camouflage paint still evident.
