Alexander III The Great of Macedon, 336-323 BC. This silver drachm of Alexander the Great is set into a stunning 2-tone gold and silver ring. The head of Herakles is depicted, wearing a lionskin headdress. Zeus seated is on the other side of the coin, holding an eagle and sceptre. The coin has excellent detail and an incredible portrait.
