From Ancient Greece, c. 3rd-1st century BC comes this bronze signet ring, the bezel engraved with a standing soldier, holding spear and shield. This was an individual's signet ring, used to sign important documents in ancient times. Comes with clay impression. Olive-green patina, nice detail.
