Devil's Postpile: Devils Postpile National Monument, CA.
Product Description
The Devil’s Postpile is a columnar formation of basaltic rock. The hexagonal shape of the columns is simply how the molten basalt cooled, leaving this incredibly impressive "post pile". Slowly, erosion has been taking down the columns over time—leaving an intricate talus at its base.

About the Designer
In 2006 I borrowed my dad’s little Canon Digital Rebel for a trip I took to Tennessee. I started playing with all the options that a digital SLR camera afforded and stretched out in the freedom of the digital format. That was it, I fell in love with the art. My Dad gave me my own camera that following Christmas and then I was off! Over the next few years I took my camera everywhere with me and began developing my eye. It was my interest in the Sierra Nevada and live music performance in which I really found my focus in photography.
