Snag Root: Ansel Adams Wilderness, CA.
Product Description
This is called Ansel Adams Wilderness, a pocket of pristine nature, near the Mammoth region of the Sierra Nevada, in California. We love the form and composition of this image: the root system of this fallen, Jeffrey Pine—especially the way the top root curls toward the cloud. It's a lovely piece that has major presence in a larger format.

About the Designer
In 2006 I borrowed my dad’s little Canon Digital Rebel for a trip I took to Tennessee. I started playing with all the options that a digital SLR camera afforded and stretched out in the freedom of the digital format. That was it, I fell in love with the art. My Dad gave me my own camera that following Christmas and then I was off! Over the next few years I took my camera everywhere with me and began developing my eye. It was my interest in the Sierra Nevada and live music performance in which I really found my focus in photography.
