This bookcase, made of a combination of dark metal and colorful recycled boat wood, is handcrafted with close attention to detail. With its sharp and precise iron frame, it has a masculine and modern flair to it.

The wood is reclaimed from boats that were once used for fishing the Strait of Malacca in Indonesia. Since each piece of wood has its own story to tell, each bookcase is unique with its own markings, cracks and paint flecks and charm. This is a bookcase that has as much of a story to tell as any of the books on its shelves.
