ARTICLE 22 designs beautiful and meaningful collections that tell real stories of transformation of negative into positive.​ ​PEACEBOMB, the first collection, is jewelry handmade from Vietnam War era bombs by Laotian artisans. A virtuous circle, the collection helps fund the clearance of some of the 80 million unexploded bombs in Laos - the most heavily bombarded country per capita. Each piece is handmade locally and cultivate​s​ the untapped talents of artisans in forgotten or off-the-beaten-track places, promoting entrepreneurship and community development. The pieces​, ​​​​then sold and worn globally​, have​ become symbols of love, courage, peace and reconciliation that transform lives. Article22 name and ethos is guided by the 22nd Article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which ​declares ​that ​everyone’s economic, social​,​ and cultural rights ​are ​indispensable for dignity and the free development of personality.
