After Philip Curry sold his first business to Patagonia in 1999, he became a biodynamic farmer, but he was haunted by the idea of protecting land and water by disrupting the outdoor equipment industry. In 2002, he launched Astral, a company deeply committed to building the best products for wilderness athletes in the least toxic, lowest impact way.
