Will this hold up in the winter with rain or does it have to be disassembled in the winter?

The Astreea Igloos will absolutely hold up against the rain. The PVC cover is the truly weatherproof option. As an example, there is an owner of 14 Astreea Igloos in Alaska where they have withstood pounding rain, wind, snow and inclement weather, all year long. The Cabana cover is weather and water-resistant. One common practice is to place the PVC cover right over the top of the Caban cover during the rainiest months of the year, then remove the PVC during summertime.
