The German artisan of this piece used this gem quality, banded agate to truly highlight the quality of the stone. Carved from a single piece of incredibly transparent banded agate (sourced in Uruguay), the variation in color creates spectacular dimension. The landscape of this piece is a bright white color, with a grey/purple gradient dragon sitting atop in the foreground. On the opposite side of the carving, there is a large, natural cavity of soft colored, transparent quartz crystals with beautiful luster.
