This solid piece of gem quality, chevron amethyst was sourced from India and then hand carved and polished by Brazilian artisans into an eagle's head which sits upon a skull. This piece is incredibly large, approximately 7 lbs, and has beautiful transparency throughout. The intense chevron pattern of bright white in contrast to the deep, grape color amethyst really highlights the details of this carving.
