This unique shimmering opalized ammonite pendant is handmade and has color on both sides - green, red, blue and gold (the red is more visible on the outer portion of the creature). Ammonites are fossil shell cephalopods from millions of years ago, & the lengthy fossilization process, with the presence of certain substances, creates the iridescent coating you see in the photos.
