From the Pala Chief Mine in San Diego County, California, this gem quality kunzite crystal is a prime example of the fine specimens to come out of this deposit. First discovered in 1903, mining of the pocket initially ceased around 1914. Now, discoveries of important elbaite and spodumene specimens still occur there. This beautifully terminated large, gemmy, magenta-drenched kunzite with no damage and no contact will upgrade even the finest of mineral collections.
