After years of exploration and fine tuning his craft, Austin felt that he could create something that encapsulated the essential elements of Paso Robles. The classic ruby color of Austin Hopes 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is stunning, and sets the stage for this robust wine. On the nose, aromas of tobacco, dark chocolate shavings, fresh black currant, and hints of savory notes. On the palate, layers of vanilla, cocoa powder, juicy cherry, baking spices, and signature tobacco create a full-bodied wine that is balanced by a splash of fresh acid and round, refined tannins. These characteristics are what put this wine at #7 in the top 10 of Wine Enthusiast's Top 100 Wines in the World for 2020.
