No, it does not open. We had to seal it in order for it to be allowed as a carry-on.

Yes, you can use it while it's plugged in! Rarely does the battery die, but if it does you can plug it in for a couple of minutes then continue to use it while plugged in as long as needed.

The speakers are specially manufactured for Bassmaker and the quality is higher than the off-the-shelf options at the factories. They are 6.5” coaxial speakers with high-end silk tweeters.

Can you play it through the TV?
