The Bcon Gaming Wearable was invented and designed by Carsten and Peter - a pair of gaming professionals from Germany, looking for a way for anyone to improve their in-game performance, regardless of gaming-gear, preferences and habits - and the Bcon was born. It was brought to life by backers around the globe through a crowdfunding campaign in summer 2018. The first series of the Bcon was manufactured completely in Germany at the end of 2018. In 2019, the Bcon's hard, firm and software were further refined through the experience of backers and testers, and is now available on Touch of Modern for the first time ever!

While Carsten and Peter are still debating whether "Bcon" is supposed to abbreviate 'Better Control' or 'Beyond Control', the device has been awarded a CES Innovation Award 2019 and "Best Innovation" by the German government and German games association.

Functionally, Bcon is the first controller usable that works in parallel to your mouse and keyboard during PC gaming, for even greater speed and control. It comes with a default configuration and can be used out of the box for all software which can be controlled by keyboard commands, but we strongly recommend to make use of Bcon's own, proprietary configuration software for PC – optimized for the use under Windows 10 and available as free download.

FAQ

Does it only work with PC? For example does it work with Xbox or Play Station

The Bcon works with all devices that can be controlled with a keyboard and which have Bluetooth connection. It works fully fine e.g. with SmartTV, iOS, and Android cell phones and tablets, etc.

However, please keep in mind. It works will all software and applications directly out of the box / plug-and-play / no plug-in needed which can be controlled via a keyboard. As you can easily see from its looks, the Bcon is a full keyboard! (not a mouse, not a gamepad).

As it comes to consoles specifically:
The Bcon controls those games on consoles which can be controlled by keyboards. In sharp difference to PC games, this is clearly not most of them; many console games require gamepad.
