Does this install to my already existing toilet?

Yes, the BB1700 will only replace your existing toilet seat and lid. The BB1700 is an elongated electric seat, so it will require an elongated toilet bowl and an electrical outlet.

How is this powered? If electric outlet, what side of the seat is it on?

The power comes from the electric outlet. When sitting on the seat, the power cord will be located on the left hand side.

Does it need hot water?

You do not need hot water. You utilize the water coming from the wall valve to feed the water to the bidet and toilet. The bidet has an internal water heater inside the unit to heat up the water based on your temperature settings.

Does this requires a different plumbing for the usual in USA?

The BB1700 is a toilet seat replacement with added bidet features, heated seat and more. It is provided with standard USA fittings.

The Bio Bidet model BB-2000 is widely held to have the best water pressure for serious cleaning power. Since the BB-1700 is so similar to the BB-2000, do the two models have the same water pressure set up?

The water pressure set up is also similar to the BB-2000.
