Bookniture designer Mike Mak loves having friends at his place, but have never had enough seats for his guests in a small city apartment. He wondered: is there a comfortable, attractive seating solution that doesn't take up any floor space when you're not using it? There was. Mike was given a honeycomb board sample and was amazed by the strength and load capacity of the structure. This structure is widely used in the furniture industry composite boards for shelves and tables - and Mike made it even more.
