Joe Namath was quarterback for the New York Jets from 1965-1976. His on-field abilities, tendency to wear fur coats on the sidelines & bold predictions helped earn him the nickname of "Broadway Joe".
Most notably, Namath led the Jets to a Super Bowl victory against the Baltimore Colts in 1969. The Jets were underdogs going in to the game (in fact, 19 point underdogs), but against the odds they came out on top and Joe Namath was awarded the Super Bowl MVP.
This full size Wilson football has been signed by Namath and inscribed with his number #12.
