Centenario invites you to learn one of Costa Rica’s well-kept secrets: the preparation of rum. Their artisanal process begins by carefully selecting the best Costa Rican sugar cane. Costa Rica’s tropical climate, volcanic soil, and pure water present the ideal conditions for growing and harvesting this plant. The stem is removed by hand and carried to the trapiche in order to extract the juicy nectar, which is then fermented and distilled. This young alcohol is aged in their rum cellar inside fine white oak barrels—the key to imparting the exquisite aroma, flavor, and characteristics of the finest rum in Costa Rica. Finally, the rum undergoes a secret blending process before it is bottled and distributed in order to maintain the premium quality and uncomparable flavor.

Centenario Edición Limitada 30 Year unites fruit notes with a distinctive wood essence from its 30 years spent inside American white oak barrels.
