Warm, comfortable, and made to last. With no factory in sight, each pair of Salmon Slippers are handcrafted slowly, by a network of independent artisan women in Patagonia. Co-created by Stiven Kerestegian, the Chilote Salmon Slippers are crafted utilizing traditional knitting techniques that have been passed down through centuries. Each pair comes with a QR code that transparently tracks them back to the artisan group that made it.
The locally-sourced raw sheep wool conforms to your feet's unique shape and has natural self cleaning properties. It regulates your body temperature and draws moisture away from your skin. Up-cycled salmon leather, an award-winning material innovation, is a repurposed by-product of the local salmon industry. t is very flexible and as soft as suede yet extremely tough. Its natural scale pattern provides a perfect grip.
