Why is the Friedberg number so important and what does this mean?

The Friedberg numbering system identifies each currency note. Fr # 2039-H is for a 2004 A $10 Federal Reserve note from the St. Louis Federal Reserve.
Fr# 2040-H is for a 2006 $ 10 Federal Reserve note from the St Louis Federal Reserve. The 2004 A series serial number starts with the letter “G”, which this note has. The 2006 series serial number starts with the letter “I”, which this note does not have. And that is why this note is so valuable!
