The phone number is a 3-digit number. The “Y” is for number 9. So, the complete phone number was “329”.
In October 1947, AT&T published the first nationwide numbering plan in coordination with the independent telephone operators. The plan divided most of North America into eighty-six numbering plan areas (NPAs). Each NPA was assigned a unique three-digit code, typically termed NPA code or simply area code.
All of this adds to the provenance of the date the coins were struck and the Original Bank Wrapper.
Both coins on the end of the roll are showing some great toning starting to develop. You can see some gold and yellow. They are on thew way to full rainbow colors.
This roll has been handpicked for sale due to the excellent condition of all the coins in the roll. High grade BU rolls with this date are VERY RARE. This BU roll is truly a rare find and is highly sought after by collectors.
This Brilliant Uncirculated Roll will be an excellent addition to anyone’s collection! Why buy 1 coin when you can have a whole roll!
This rare 1954 S Jefferson nickel is a true gem for any collector. It’s a must-have for those who appreciate the value of rare coins. The strike on these Nickels showcases the intricate details of the design, making it a beautiful addition to any collection.
