1928 $ 1 Silver Certificates

Being offered today is a Choice Brilliant Uncirculated $1 Dollar 1928 “Funny Back” Series Silver Certificate. These notes are 95 years old but look like they were just printed yesterday.

The Silver Certificate is designated by the Blue Seal on the left center of the note. It also has “Silver Certificate” on the top center of the note. The Funny Back name was given to the 1928 series due to the fact that the back of the note looks like play money or “Monopoly” money. (See the picture on the back of the note).
