1928 $ 1 Silver Certificates Graded 64 PPQ

Being offered today is a $1 Dollar 1928 “Funny Back” Series Silver Certificate. This note is Graded by PCGS in 64 PPQ (Premium Paper Quality) Choice Uncirculated. This note is 95 years old but looks like it was just printed yesterday.

The Silver Certificate is designated by the Blue Seal on the left center of the note. It also has “Silver Certificate” on the top center of the note. The Funny Back name was given to the 1928 series due to the fact that the back of the note looks like play money or “Monopoly” money. (See the picture on the back of the note).
