2003 $ 2 Federal Reserve 4 Ounce Silver Gold colored Bar
Product Description
Being offered today is a Rare - High Grade, STAR Note, Low Serial Number example of a 2003 $ 2.00 Federal Reserve New York Note graded by PMG in 65 Gem Uncirculated Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ)!!
STAR Notes are far more valuable than a regular note and much more collectable! Fewer than 1% of notes printed are STAR NOTES!
When The Bureau of Engraving and Printing or BEP prints a sheet of notes and they are damaged in any way, the notes must be destroyed. By law, they need to print notes bearing the damaged serial numbers. When they print the new notes, they must bear a STAR after the serial number. This designates the note as a “replacement note”.
This note is from the New York Federal Reserve district as signified by the “B” on the left side of the note. That is why the serail number on the note starts with the letter “B” as well.
The New York series is one of the harder notes to find with all of these features.
This note has a very low serial number: B 00002146*. So, this note only has 4 digits, not 8. This makes it very rare and highly collectable.
This note offers a four way investment opportunity. You have the High Grade, Star Note, Low Serial Number, and it’s from the NY Federal Reserve.
This is a great opportunity to obtain one for your collection. If you are an avid collector of true quality currency, then this note is for you.
The color just pops off the note. The margins are centered very well, and the ink is well embossed. The colors are bright and bold. The well-preserved paper adds to its visual eye appeal.
This note is encased and sealed by PMG. Every PMG certified note is backed by the industry leading PMG guarantee, which provides greater protection for both BUYERS AND SELLERS.
