1928 $1 Legal Tender 2 Consecutive # 949 - 950
Product Description
Offered here is a very rare pair of 2 consecutive 1928 $1 Dollar Series Legal Tender Notes. Both notes are graded in PMG 66 GEM Uncirculated EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) and look like they were just printed yesterday. This grading is the highest you can get under the PMG guidelines for a 66 grade.
It’s not that often you see a pair of these examples at this high of grade. Not to mention both notes have low serial numbers. This is the first and only year that the small size $1 legal tender notes were printed. The notes are also from the first block of A-A that were printed. You can locate their signatures on the bottom left side and bottom right side of the front of the note. The signatures on these notes are Woods on the left and Woodin on the right. Everything adds up to a great collectible pair of notes!
The notes are all centered very well, and the ink just pops off the notes. The colors are bright and bold. All of the notes offered here have fantastic eye appeal. The notes show no sign of wear on the corners or the sides. All of the corners and edges of the notes are crisp and clean. There are no pinholes, rips, stains, or tears.
If you are an avid collector of true quality currency, then this is the one for you. This pair of notes contain some truly pristine examples that offer an excellent investment opportunity. So, if you are looking for something out of the ordinary, then look no further.
