1935 G $1 Silver Certificates 46 Consecutive // # 005 - 050

Being offered today is a group of rare $1 Dollar 1935 G Series Silver Certificates. These notes are “With Motto” and feature “IN GOD WE TRUST” on the back. These notes are the key date in this series and much more difficult to locate than the “Without Motto” version. The notes are all in Choice Uncirculated condition or higher and look like they were just printed yesterday.

The Silver Certificate is designated by the Blue Seal on the right center of the note. It also has “Silver Certificate” on the top center of the note. The 1935 $1 dollar Silver Certificate has 9 different notes in the series. They start at 1935 and then go from 1935A to 1935H. The reason for the different types of notes is that when the “Treasurer of the United States” or the “Secretary of the Treasury” changes, by law they must print notes bearing their name. That is how the “A” through “H” series works, or any other dated currency with multiple lettering in the series. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing or BEP will print millions of “backs” of notes for a series. Then print a set number of “fronts” of the notes as needed for the series with the correct Treasurer of The United States or Secretary of The Treasury. The signatures on these notes are Smith on the left and Dillon on the right.

The notes are all centered very well, and the ink just pops off the notes. The colors are bright and bold. All of the notes offered here have fantastic eye appeal. The notes show no sign of wear on the corners or the sides. All of the corners and edges of the notes are crisp and clean. There are no pinholes, rips, stains, or tears. Each note will be encased in a long-term preservation holder. The holders are made to enhance the presentation of the encapsulated notes and protects against tampering.
