Student designer Catherine Merrick of the Pratt Institute in New York designed the Quartz collection for the Nachtmann NextGen series. Her inspiration came from raw geodes: ordinary stones with faceted crystals hidden inside. Made from the finest Bavarian crystal, these pieces boast the same sparkle and sharp angles as natural gemstones.
