First created in the 1883, Reversi—or Othello— is an abstract strategy game on an 8x8 square grid. Each piece has a light and a dark face to represent each player, who take turns placing disks on the board with their color facing up. Any two pieces that are touching or in a row are bound to each other, and must be turned over to reflect the color of the new piece. Take turns flipping the pieces and fight for control of the board. The person with the majority of disks in their color when the final piece is placed wins!
