The Foggia Antica is an ancient Sardinian knife. Some models used to have a large blade in the shape of a bay leaf, and were among the most common knives in Sardinia during the 19th century. Coltelleria Saladini's version keeps the traditional shape with a rounded blade and a high-arched handle, and features a butt in the shape of a goat’s hoof. The knife features a simple spring mechanism.
