The CorePump® machine is a revolutionary resistance training device that combines functional strength training and high intensity interval exercise. CorePump® replaces nearly all of the equipment in a gym, offering infinite exercise possibilities while taking up less than 4 square feet of floor space.

The key to the CorePump® is Smart Resistance® — adaptive resistance that constantly changes depending on the output of the user. The faster you push/pull on any setting, the higher the hydraulic resistance. Going slower will decrease the resistance so you can fail safely without causing injury, thus maximizing muscle endurance and strength.

Because it doesn't use electricity or weights, it's whisper quiet and extremely easy to put together. It utilizes Isokinetic resistance to provide a workout twice as hard as traditional resistance exercises without the delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) that accompanies a conventional workout.

Is this the 1st or 2nd generation?

This is the 1st generation of the CorePump® Machine. There is no 2nd gen at this time.

What's the resistance level equivalent to weight?

The machine uses Smart Resistance, which means it continuously adjusts to the output of the user. However, if you pushed consistently at 3.5s/sec the 6 settings of the bi-directional resistance are approximate as follows:
1. 9.89 Pounds force (lb)
2. 14 lb
3. 26 lb
4. 46 lb
5. 77 lb
6. 118 lb

Can I do squats and other leg exercises?

Absolutely! You can do a number of leg exercises. In the basic 9 exercises (received on a high-quality poster), you will perform calf raises, single-legged squats, deadlifts, and harness squats.

What kind of upper body workouts can be completed with this system?

Unlimited upper and lower body workouts. Please go to corepump.com to view some of the workouts and/or youtube.com/corepump to see even more. The machine comes with a very nice poster that shows 9 basic exercises, replacing over 20 gym exercises you could do in the gym.
