Meuse Ripple // Eco Yarn // Midnight Black + Rich Jade

The Meuse backpack reflects its riverine origins through this exclusive ‘Ripple’ print that portrays both the tranquillity and strength of flowing water, exemplified in a palette of midnight black and rich jade, colors which evoke the nocturnal play of light on a river’s surface. The print is created in collaboration with young French artist Yassin Lahmar. A characteristically minimalist and organic Côte & Ciel backpack, the Meuse is a reinvention of the classic backpack for the now. Aimed at the modern adventurer, it rejects the past decade’s obsession with nostalgic aesthetics in preference for simplicity and functionality. The Meuse bag’s clean lines conceal a deceptively large compartment with a space divider, two mesh pockets, a padded laptop pouch that fit devices up to 15", and in the front an external big pocket with space for an iPad mini. Finally, the addition of a subtle extra width at the base of Meuse folds around the wearer’s body for ultimate carrying comfort.
