The nose opens up to delicate notes of ripe lemon, white-fleshed fruits, and brioche. It has lovely volume, full body yet also freshness and mellowness on the palate.

Every bottle goes through a four step process—it's curated from the top 1% of independent champagne producers, then painted by hand to block out light and to create COUP's signature look and feel. Each bottle is then laser engraved with unique designs and inspirational messages.

Founded in 1912, with a family motto of "Glory to Champagne!", J. de Telmont is a family story. Four generations wrote the history of their artisan process that survives to this day. The delicate harvest—which is still done by hand—is precisely timed for each season, while the art of “tiré-bouché liège” (ageing on natural cork) carries on a rare tradition. The wine-making and aging take place in foudres (large oak vats). Craft champagne like this is noted for its deeper and more complex flavor profile that arises from a longer aging process. The texture of the bubbles are much finer and more delicate for an exquisite tasting experience.

The set is shipped in a padded hard case that is dust-proof, waterproof, shockproof, weatherproof, and designed to safely transport a bottle of Coup Champagne anywhere. The inside of the case is molded to fit the bottle, along with a matte black forged stainless steel saber, and a pour spout. The safety pour spout is used both to cover the sharp exposed glass on the bottle, and to prevent any glass pieces from being poured out when you're ready to serve.
